				Carlson-LaVine is one of those rare construction companies that has stood the test of time.  We have been in business for over 60 years and in that time, have established a reputation for excellence in the commercial building industry that is second to none.  Our company philosophy was established early on by our founders Walter Carlson and Erick LaVine, both European immigrants with backgrounds in the area of masonry and concrete.  Carlson and LaVine brought old-world craftsmen ideologies with them and put them to work when they started this company.  They laid down three simple rules: Every job was the most important job.  Every client was the most important client.  And a promise made was a promise kept.
	To ensure the company's ability to keep promises, both Carlson and LaVine felt it was crucial to have a work force of skilled professionals always available to serve the needs of customers with flexibility and commitment.  So they found and hired the best craftsmen in the area.  They believed that if they could consistently deliver the highest quality product, there would always be enough work to maintain the full-time, permanent crews.
