Hennepin County New Intake and Triage Center Clinic

This project located at 1800 Chicago Ave. Minneapolis is mainly interior remodeling of 12 000 square feet. The new Intake and Triage Center will seek to reduce the frequency of hospital emergency room visits and provide a lower cost treatment alternative for the subject populations. Services will support individuals through the coordination of multi-discipline approaches to care. The Center will accept self-referrals and referrals from law enforcement hospitals and other professionals. Trades include selective demolition concrete & masonry carpentry casework hollow metal door frames hollow metal & wood doors door hardware glazing finishes specialties miscellaneous equipment security devices fire suppression plumbing ductwork controls air handling unit low voltage cabling line voltage light fixtures & controls panelboards.

This is my first construction project working with the HC program manager, and although I don’t deal with the day-to-day, it has been an impactful experience. I have learned more in the past 21 weeks with the weekly meeting than I could in a year. Chuck and Dewey, specifically with Carlson-LaVine, have done just about everything right!
